π About the Program
The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) was launched in 2010 by the U.S.-Japan Council (USJC) to cultivate the next generation of Japanese American leaders. Selected participants will attend the USJC Annual Conference, held in a major U.S. city, and engage in leadership workshops, mentorship, and networking with influential leaders from business, government, and the non-profit world.
In 2025, the program will continue its mission of empowering young professionals while promoting mutual understanding between the United States and Japan.
